Painting flowers looks so easy on YouTube when other artists are painting. I've found that in reality, it's a process of continually solving small problems, which can be a bit frustrating.
I tell you my thoughts as I paint this sunflower and show how I solved a problem that had me repainting a section many times over.
I love to learn, so I started recording my paintings. As I go back and review the footage, I learn a lot about what was – and wasn't – working.
